Playcast – a way to realize your creativity

Playcast

What is Playcast? The word comes from a combination of two words: “Play” and “Broadcast. Playcast is also called a “music card”. To create a Pleycast requires 3 components: an image in the form of a photo, picture, flash animation or video, a music mp3 file and text (usually a poem). After creating the Pleycast you will get access to html-code, with which you can put your artwork on your blog, on any site, including your own, if you have one.

A playcast is a good way to express your creativity. If you are an artist you can place your picture in the Pleycast and then publish your Pleycast at any service like “Bison” where your creation will be seen by a wide circle of service users and you will get an estimation, valuable advices and etc. If you’re a poet, you can post your poems on Playcast and introduce them to a wide audience. For a composer, it’s a great opportunity to publish your work, and a huge number of people will hear it.

How do I make a Pleycast? To make a Pleycast, you need to register on a special site, where the process is described step by step. You will be prompted to upload the necessary files: images, music, and text, and then a form will open, where all this can be combined into a single whole. You will need to indicate the source of the image, music and text. If something belongs to you personally, then indicate your authorship. When uploading the files, please note the following requirements: file size – not more than 13 MB, image size – not more than 1024×1024 pixels, allowed image formats – gif, jpg, png, swf, allowed video formats – flv, mp4, allowed sound file formats – mp3. Instead of music you can upload a voice message which you can speak into a microphone and save as an mp3 file. You can send your voice greeting card to the other end of the world by sending a link to your Playcast with ICQ or Skype, and you can hide your Playcast from other people with a special access code. You can take a picture for Pleycast with your cell phone, and then you can publish interesting cases of your life.

Some “advanced” users prefer to make slideshows or video clips, but a good video clip even for an experienced master would take more than one day of work: to shoot video, edit it, think over and make effects, etc. With all the files available, a Playcast is made in a matter of minutes, and the process is available to anyone, even a novice user.
