Remember when alt-rock really was an alternative and it would pour out of coffee shop speakers? Or, back when it was there as the opening song to another wacky teen comedy with a heart of gold? Pepperidge Farms – I mean LA Music Blog – remembers.

Classic 90’s alt-rockers Letters To Cleo are back with with a mini tour just in time for the 25th anniversary of the album Aurora Gory Alice. Hitting up LA, NY, Philly and Boston, lead by front-woman Kay Hanley, the band will be celebrating the seminal album and hits like “I Want You To Want Me.” The tour kicks off this Friday, November 9 at The Hi Hat in Highland Park with American Hi-Fi as the opening act.

The band rarely tours, so consider this your opportunity to see ’em while you can! You know Ben Wyatt would and he’s the dude who invented the Cones of Dunshire.
