UK singer/songwriter/producer George van den Broek, aka Yellow Days, is only 19-years-old, but with tripped-out, lo-fi indie soul releases and an identifiable visual character established in just the past couple of years, he has amassed a big audience enough to the point that he’s sold out both of his shows at the Moroccan Lounge in DTLA this week AND the remaining dates of this current North American tour.

Yellow Days will be performing primarily in support of his 2017 record Is Everything Okay in Your World?, which molds the boozy aesthetic of King Krule and Mac DeMarco with the vocal rigor and sumptuous soul of Sam Cooke or Bobby Womack. Check out the music video to “Hurt in Love,” and if you can, maybe get your way into the Moroccan Lounge April 3rd or 4th or see him on the festival circuit near you.
