Stagecoach promoter Goldenvoice has released the festival’s 2018 lineup! The headliners will be the legendary Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, and Florida Georgia Line.

While the main acts reiterate everything the music industry associates with the country genre (boots, hats, and men men men), there’s also an impressive roster of women slated to rock the stages – something I’m incredibly excited about.

Powerhouse female acts like Kelsea Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves, and Trisha Yearwood, among 10 others, will be an empowering sight to see. “There is a lot of really exciting female talent in country right now, and I wanted to do my part to support them. Maybe being on Stagecoach can make the difference for them,” Stagecoach talent booker Stacy Vee told the LA Times. This years 13 female acts surpasses last year’s mere nine (though one of those nine, Shania Twain, was a headliner).

Having previously played Stagecoach, Kacey Musgraves has been scheduled to open for Keith Urban this year – a big slot. Vee sings Musgraves’ praises: “… She’s another one who’s been out there supporting some pop acts, while at the same time she is one of the more traditional country artists. I love everything she embraces: her personality, commitment, and she’s a hard worker. She’s not taking the traditional party — she’s totally carving her own path.”

Stagecoach will take place April 27th to April 29th at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA. For more information, including a full lineup, please visit Stagecoach’s website.
