Anyone who knows me also knows I am a very big Ed Sheeran fan. I can sing every song by heart, I have thoroughly thought out my favorite tracks, and I own his book (yes, he has a book!). Well, as one would expect, I’m elated to hear that Sheeran has revealed he will be embarking on a massive North American tour in support of his newest album, Divide, this summer and fall!

The “Shape of You” singer took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to announce the exciting news.  The 47-date run is set to begin on June 29th in Kansas, and concludes in Nashville on October 6th. As written by Global News, “A pre-sale for the tour will begin March 13 on Ticketmaster, which will use its new Ticketmaster Verified Fan, a tech product that aims to ensure fans – not bots – get high demand tickets. A wider sale of tickets will begin on March 17.”

Sheeran has most recently been seen promoting his album, which has been shattering streaming records, on talks shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Today Show, among others. He also appeared on Saturday Night Live, and in addition to performing, he had some fun with Cecily Strong and Alec Baldwin.

The songwriter will be hitting LA’s Staples Center on August 10th. Be sure not to miss it!
