Fink has just revealed that his newest album, Fink’s Sunday Night Blues Club, Vol. 1, is set to debut on March 10th. Penned as his first purely blues release, it’s sure to make any casual Fink fan a devotee.

I first heard of Fink (Fin Greenall) several years ago when I stumbled upon two tracks, “This Is the Thing” and “If Only,” off of his 2007 album Distance and Time. They are both still on my iTunes’ Top 25 Most Played playlist. If raw and unadulterated talent is your style, Fink is for you. He is a beautiful guitar player with a voice that instantly captivates.

According to Greenall, as reported by the Missing Piece Group, most of this record was done in one take. Each track was recorded live “using one vintage mic and one vintage amp.” This alone will make it an extraordinary listening experience.

While some of us singer/songwriters are having trouble producing a single EP (anyone else with me here?!), Fink’s Sunday Night Blues Club, Vol. 1 is actually just a side project for Greenall! The British songwriter will be releasing a full-length studio album sometime later this year.

I’m looking forward to taking a listen come March 10th, and I can’t wait to see what else Fink has in store for us!
