Kings of Leon will be playing at The Forum this Saturday, January 28th, making a stop in Los Angeles as they move along on their WALLS world tour.

The illustrious rock group is made up of brothers Caleb Followill, Nathan Followill, and Jared Followill, along with their cousin Matthew Followill. Named after the brothers’ father, Leon, the band formed out of Nashville in 2000.

Something I had (embarrassingly) not known until recently was that Kings of Leon had originally found success in the UK. After the 2003 release of their debut EP, Holly Roller Novacaine, and Youth and Young Manhood LP, they hit the British charts and were heralded by British press.

It wasn’t until 2008 — when the Kings released their single “Use Somebody” off of their fourth album, Only by the Night — that they landed on US charts.

WALLS, the band’s seventh studio album, has them touring worldwide until mid-July 2017. Make sure to snag a ticket to their show at The Forum before they head off on their European leg!
