12/13 UPDATE: Congratulations to our winners Christopher Modisette & Rebecca Stark, and a big THANK YOU to everyone who entered!

Long before There’s Something About Mary, music fans knew there was something about Jonathan Richman. He first came on the music scene in 1970 as the founder of The Modern Lovers, a band whose members went on to join such notable acts at Talking Heads and The Cars. His early work was influential in shaping the sound of those that came after him, and he’s even been called the “Godfather of Punk.”

Decades later, he hit the big screen as one half of the Greek chorus narrating the action in the Farrelly Brothers’ breakthrough comedy. Next week, he’ll be swinging by Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre for a show in support of his 2016 release, Ishkode! Ishkode!, and we have two pairs of tickets to give away to the show!
