OneRepublic gave a stellar performance to a sold-out crowd at the iconic Troubadour in West Hollywood this past weekend. They have played at the venue several times before, but it’s been awhile, and LA was happy to have them back.
The group is perhaps best known for 2007’s smash single “Apologize,” but since then, they’ve gone on to produce the hit tracks “Stop and Stare,” “Love Runs Out,” “Secrets,” and “Counting Stars,” all of which they performed at the Troubadour. They also played a couple of songs off their latest release, including “Oh My My,” “A.I.,” “Let’s Hurt Tonight,” “Kids,” and “Future Looks Good,” and those tracks were some of my favorites of the night because they were so full of energy.
OneRepublic was phenomenal from the moment they took the stage, and their energy was infectious. The whole crowd was singing and dancing right along with them. In between songs, the band members connected with the audience, telling us stories about how they started as a band, sharing the origins of songs, and pretty much just having fun with the crowd.
If you missed this concert, don’t worry — they will be going on tour next year, too. In the meantime check out their newly released album, Oh My My, and my photos from the show!
