Yellow Claw is known for heavy drops, lots of energy, and extremely passionate fans, and they delivered all of the above at their show at The Hollywood Palladium. Crowded and sweating fans waved their banners, sitting down and jumping back up on cue from shirtless frontman Jim Aasgier. It leant to an atmosphere of kinetic energy and love from the crowd in one of the wildest and most fun shows I’ve seen to date!

While the name “Yellow Claw” conjures up festival-style trap along the lines of Flosstradamus, Hucci, and Troyboi, this group’s show at The Palladium definitely integrated other styles throughout the night. Some awesome hard-style bangers made the setlist, as did their new single “Invitation.” Images from the latter track’s recently released video were featured on the panoramic monitors behind the boys, immersing the crowd in a vibe of beauty and longing.

A few months ago, Yellow Claw left this message on their Facebook page:

After an incredible run together our MC Bizzey has decided he wants to spend more time with his wife and young son. We’re sorry to see him go, but fully respect his choice and salute him for years of endless energy and enthusiasm. EDC Las Vegas on Sunday was our last show together. Bizzey will forever be our brother!

If their show at The Palladium was any indication, they’ve still got it despite the loss of Bizzey.
