Since attending my first rave two years ago, I have fallen in love with electronic dance music (specifically trance, but I’m still earning my kandi bracelets). I dove head first into this music scene and even traveled to Electronic Daisy Carnival this summer, where I had one of the most memorable weekends of my life.

Some of my favorite EDM artists are coming to Los Angeles this fall, so I thought I’d share the five shows I’m looking forward to the most!

5) Alesso @ The Greek Theatre – 9/24 – Tickets

This progressive house DJ was one of the first ones my EDM-loving friends played for me, and “Heroes (We Could Be)” is one of my favorite tracks. Now he is bringing his soaring songs to the beautiful outdoor Greek Theatre, a venue perfectly suited for his powerful music.

4) Gareth Emery @ The Palladium – 9/17 – Tickets

This self-described “global super-star DJ/producer” has been heavily promoting his recent release, 100 Reasons To Live, and with his upcoming concert at The Palladium, he gives us one more. Whether he’s bringing epic collaborations or piano-heavy ballads, this DJ always puts on a can’t-miss show!

3) Tritonal @ Shrine Auditorium – 9/17 – Tickets

Tritonal was one of the first acts I saw at Nocturnal Wonderland 2014, and I immediately knew trance was my favorite EDM genre. Their combination of infectious hooks, memorable melodies, and intense buildups make this duo one of my absolute favorites, and I can’t wait for their show next month!

2) Seven Lions @ The Palladium – 10/22 – Tickets

Seven Lions was one of my favorite acts at both HARD Day of the Dead 2014 and EDC 2016. This DJ is taking over The Palladium, and given how impressive his stage shows have been in the past, I can’t wait to see what tracks he performs (and which special guests may join him on stage).

1) Kygo @ The Hollywood Bowl – 10/14 & 10/15 – Tickets

One of the biggest DJs is taking over one of Los Angeles’ largest venues this fall. This recently announced show has been the talk of the town, so much so that they’ve added a second Los Angeles date to the DJ’s massive fall tour. Coming off his closing performance at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, there’s no doubt the production value of this concert will match Kygo’s amazing music and the historic LA venue that will host him!
