We hit some record heat to kick off the official start of summer here in Los Angeles. It was by some miracle that our latest presence for Eat|See|Hear was at Santa Monica High School for a lovely, cool breeze and an evening filled with delicious food truck food, hilarious comedy, and awesome music!
LA Music Blog is presenting all of the music for the entirety of the Eat|See|Hear summer series in 2016, and this past Saturday, our ol’ pal and LA Music Blogcast co-host Marcus Slater had the chance to interview alt-pop act Sleeping Wolf before a showing of last year’s Amy Schumer/Judd Apatow comedy Trainwreck. The up-and-coming LA duo dug deep behind the meaning of their name and described their sound to new audiences before performing a full set of tracks from their new EP, The Fire.
Check out Marcus’s full interview and exclusive performance video below, and be sure to enter our contest to win passes for Dazed and Confused and Maszer at The Autry at Griffith Park this coming Saturday!
