I have a confession…I am a Do LaB junkie! The sense of whimsy and fun (plus the constant sense that a water fight might break out any moment) draws me to Do LaB stage after Do LaB stage, and I wouldn’t want it any other way!

So before I short-circuit my keyboard with a techno- and house-induced drool, here are this year’s lineups for the stage that Rolling Stone named the “Best Dance Floor” at Coachella 2015:

Do LaB @ Coachella 2016 Weekend 1:
Active Sun – Big Wild – Brillz – Dena Amy – Dreamers Delight – Everyman – FDVM – Ghastly – Humans – Imagined Herbal Flows – JayKode – Jerry Folk – Job Jobse – KRNE – Le Youth – Lee Foss – Mountain of Youth – Pantyraid – Paper Diamond – San Holo – Speaker of the House – Stylust Beats – The Drifter – The Funk Hunters – Wave Racer + Surprise Guests TBA!

Something that stands out about the Do LaB stages is that they host a completely different lineup for each weekend of Coachella. I am attending Weekend Two, but for everyone who is lucky enough to attend Weekend One, I recommend visiting the Big Fish stage for a booty-bouncing, head-bobbing house, techno, dub house, trap, and even hip hop-inspired weekend. And someone better check out Brillz, Ghastly, Lee Youth, and Lee Foss on my behalf!

If that isn’t enough to convince you to visit the Big Fish, keep in mind the heat of the desert! As the wettest and wildest corner of Coachella, the Big Fish stage reigns supreme as the premier spot to cool down while you get down to internationally acclaimed electronic acts.

Do LaB @ Coachella 2016 Weekend 2:
Ardalan – Autograf – Bedouin – Cut Snake – Ekali – Gilligan Moss – Hotel Garuda – Hunter Leggitt – Jesse Wright – Kraddy – Melvv – Nico Luminous – NU – Oona Dahl – Patricio – Sacha Robotti – Sam Gellaitry – Satori – Shawni – Stanton Warriors – STWO – Sweater Beats – The Human Experience – Walker & Royce + Surprise Guests TBA!

Join me for Weekend Two as the Big Fish gets invaded by birds…Dirty Birds that is! Dirtybird Records artists Sacha Robotti and Adralan are on the lineup, and I’m crossing my fingers and my toes that at least one of the promised secret guests is another member of the Dirtybird flock. (J.Phip? Pretty please?)

Weekend Two also promises a world-spanning expanse of sounds and music styles, including Brisbane electronic, enthralling Parisian hip hop/soul, future bass, soulful Chicago electronica, some English production, house/indie-electro, drum and bass fusion, live beatboxing, and a comprehensive mix of Middle Eastern and Western sounds. How all of this is going to fit into one massive dance and water gun-filled weekend? I can’t wait to find out!

No matter which weekend you plan to attend, Do LaB has a 100% satisfaction guarantee for anyone who swims into the Big Fish stage and promises one hell of a non-stop party. I’m going to have the arduous task of attempting to tear myself away from a weekend of pure house and techno bliss to make it to the main stages. Hope to see you there!
