Glass Animals’ debut album, Zaba, is named after William Stieg’s The Zabajaba Jungle, and the LP definitely reflects its namesake. Sultry, tropical beats are interspersed with electronic beeps to create an atmosphere that carries the listener through some dark jungle with Dave Bayley’s sensual croon as guide.
In anticipation of their upcoming North American tour, Glass Animals are sharing their performance of “Black Mambo” at Meltdown Festival in London. The clip’s release comes at the same time as Spotify’s release of Glass Animals’ recorded session for Spotify House at SXSW this year.
Take the opportunity to see and hear how their studio production translates to the stage and get excited because they’re playing at The Troubadoor on October 4th and 5th. Both shows are sold-out, so hopefully you already bought your tickets!
