If you took John Denver’s locks, Mick Jagger’s lips, and a discernible version of Bob Dylan’s voice, you might have a fair first impression of Foxygen. This ragtag duo started writing music together and recording albums independently in high school, and their unique sound is a modern exploration of rock with a psychedelic, ’60s undertone.

On August 15th, Foxygen will be visiting Orange County’s intimate venue The Observatory with support from Gary Wilson. Known for their unpredictable performances, the anything-goes group will likely be sharing some new material from their forthcoming album, …And Star Power, including new single, “How Can You Really?” which you can listen to below.
