Didn’t get your fill of live music this weekend or maybe you’re looking for something to make this Monday feel less like a Monday? I’ve got the perfect solution (and it won’t eat into your weekly lunch allowance either): as part of the Voices of LA summer series, The Echoplex is hosting a FREE 18+ event tonight featuring Wil-Dog and Jarell Perry!

The first artist is the bassist for the GRAMMY-winning band Ozomatli, known for its alt-Latino-world fusion sounds, and his solo work blends sociopolitical themes with Jewish-inspired, salsa/pop/reggae/hip-hop styles, so whatever your genre preference, chances are Wil-Dog’s music will appeal to you.

The other headliner on this bill, Jarell Perry, is one of Southern California’s fastest rising stars within the alternative-R&B scene. The mix of electronic soul and indie-pop on his 2013 debut LP, Simple Things, has been praised by everyone from Rusko to Russell Simmons, and his sexy sound will be a perfect balance to Wil-Dog’s thought-provoking set.

There’s still time to RSVP for this FREE event, but I wouldn’t wait too long or you might miss out on one of the best shows in LA tonight.
