It was quite a night for Broadway fans and music freaks alike.

Some of music’s biggest stars took to the stage for If I Loved You: Gentlemen Prefer Broadway at Toronto’s Luminato Festival this weekend to sing big Broadway numbers in a gender-fluid setting.

One of the most memorable moments was when Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, Boy George, David Byrne, Rufus Wainwright, and Josh Groban grouped up to sing the acclaimed Grease number “Summer Nights,” and it was nothing short of magical. The boys mastered their “Tell me more”s like proper greasers and pink ladies, and Broadway has never been so proud.

This gender-fluid rendition of the song is not just hilarious — it’s also pretty badass, as evidence by the fan-filmed video below.

“Summer Nights” served as the finale of the evening’s performance lineup. The event was co-curated by Wainwright, who sang other Broadway standards with various male performers.

I just wish I could have been there.
