Last night’s taping of the LA Music Blogcast was a particularly exciting one for me as our hosts David Fisch, Mikiel Houser, and Marcus Slater were joined by an act I’ve been following for almost as long as this site’s been in existence: Kitten.

At the core of the LA electro-pop act is frontwoman Chloe Chaidez, who’s thoughtful answers and grounded disposition on last night’s show belied her youth (she’s only 19 years old). Her group’s self-titled debut LP is set for release this Tuesday, and tomorrow night she’ll be headlining El Rey Theatre for what she promises will be the “best Kitten show ever.” If Chloe’s acoustic performance of “Apples and Cigarettes” on last night’s Blogcast wasn’t enough to convince you that this chick’s got live music chops (though it should have been), pick up tickets to the El Rey show and prepare to be blown away.

Check out the full episode of the LA Music Blogcast with Kitten below, and be sure to tune in to TradioV LA Thursday at 8PM to catch our next LIVE LA Music Blogcast taping!
