How are you planning to spend your official unofficial first weekend of summer, besides dressing in white from head to toe just because you can? Barbecues are so last weekend. Let your dork friends do lame stuff like enjoy the outdoors while you rock out in darkened rooms like an adult.

Lana Del Rey – Friday, May 30th @ Shrine Expo Hall – 8:00 PM – SOLD OUT

Lana Del Rey’s 2014 North American tour ends Friday night at the Shrine Expo Hall with a sold-out show to which LA Music Blog is handily giving away a free pair of tickets. The wildly popular songstress releases her third album, Ultraviolence, in just a few short weeks — what better way to fire up your anticipation than by seeing her in the flesh?

Dirty South – Saturday, May 31st @ Avalon – 9:30 PM – Tickets

Dirty South — the Serbian-born Australian DJ/producer who’s remixed the likes of Depeche Mode, Led Zeppelin, U2, and Tiesto — brings his cool house sounds to Hollywood’s beautiful Avalon Saturday night. After seeing the UK’s KOAN Sound at the venue a couple of weeks ago, it’s my new favorite place in Hollywood and sure to be a stunning show.

Bruno Mars and Pharrell – Saturday, May 31st, and Sunday, June 1st @ Hollywood Bowl – 7:30 PM – Tickets

I can’t think of two bigger male stars in today’s pop music scene than Bruno Mars and Pharrell, and they crash into the Hollywood Bowl this weekend on Bruno’s Moonshine Jungle tour. See them for yourselves, if you can handle that much cool dude in one night. (I’m sure you can. I believe in you.)

Have a great weekend, everybody!
