If you’ve listened to either of Jack White’s new singles from his upcoming release, Lazaretto, you are probably as excited as I am to hear the whole album. Due out on June 10th, the effort marks yet another of the prolific frontman’s creative extensions of himself, and based on those new singles, it sounds as though it will hit harder than some of his previous work. I’m expecting a bit more experimentation with song structure and maybe a few shredding guitar solos as well.

The last Jack White tour featured two alternating bands, one with an all-male lineup and one all-female. Shows ranged from headlining spots on major festivals to smaller club dates, and I even heard a rumor of a jam in the backwoods of Golden Gate Park at Outside Lands during that time. Who knows with Jack White? He is as unpredictable as the weather, and we wouldn’t want it any other way.

This time around White will be performing three shows in SoCal the week of the album’s release. The first will be on June 10th, the actual release date, at The Fonda Theatre, and the following two nights will see him playing The Mayan and The Glass House, respectively. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, May 16th, and these shows will likely sell out, probably in minutes. Get ready for another healthy dose of one of the greatest voices of our time.
