Last week we posted the video for the single “Palace” by The Antlers, the first release off their forthcoming album Familiars. Now the Brooklyn trio has announced a set of tour dates that, would you believe, includes a performance in Los Angeles at the Troubadour on July 12th. Tickets for the show will be available on Friday for those of you who aren’t running around in the desert sun of Coachella.

The reason for the excitement around the release is straightforward: The Antlers’ last album was incredible. Burst Apart was my personal favorite release of 2011, and with only the Undersea EP to whet our appetites for a longer release in the meantime, the anticipation for the full-length follow-up is now pretty high. The new album artwork is above, and the full list of tour dates is available below after the video for “Drift Dive” from the Undersea EP.
