Locals In The Valley Below have had a big year — tours, festivals, a new record — but now the road-weary indie-folk rockers have come home to roost with a slew of Southern California shows. Those dates include an Echo residency that begins next week on Monday, May 5th.

Frankly, there’s no better way to celebrate a new record than with your hometown fans, and that’s exactly what In The Valley Below plans on doing with their residency dates. The band is gearing up for the release of their newest EP, Man Girl, out on Capitol/Caroline on May 6th. The EP includes their newest single, “Stand Up,” as well as a couple remixes of their biggest hit, the purely hypnotic “Peaches.”

Kele Okereke of Bloc Party provides one of those remixes, taking the song to an epic 7 minutes. The remixes are fun, but hopefully more new material is on the horizon for In The Valley Below and will be front and center at the band’s LA dates. Be sure to check out the full schedule below for all of In The Valley Below’s SoCal dates.

Also, In The Valley Below brews their own beer because, have you seen them?
