St Vincent

I remember having kind of a close-minded view of the female front-person when I was younger, probably because so much of the ’90s rock catalogue was male dominated, but lately I’ve been obsessed with female singers.

Now don’t get me wrong. This isn’t one of those self-hating-man, pro-feminism lists (although I think it’s pretty obvious women in our society are undervalued). I just think that some of the best contemporary art has been created from the feminine point of view and in such a way that disregards gender or sexuality. Not to say that these women aren’t sexy… You know what? Before I dig myself into a deep(er) hole, let me just say that I hope you enjoy these women that I also enjoy, both platonically and artistically.
