The 86th Academy Awards went down here in Hollywood last night, with the Idina Menzel-performed “Let It Go” taking home the statue for Best Original Song in Frozen. Of course, that got me to thinking about past Best Original Song winners, and let me tell you, there are some doozies.

1964’s “Chim Chim Cher-ee” from Mary Poppins, anyone? Or maybe 1990’s “Sooner or Later (I Always Get My Man),” Madonna’s blockbuster hit from Dick Tracy (not), which beat out the bad-ass “Blaze of Glory” from Young Guns II? Even the winners can’t all be winners, folks.

Kick off your week with this playlist of my favorite Best Original Song winners, and check out the complete list of past winners if your appetite’s whetted.
