My first taste of Copenhagen-based multi-instrumentalist Trentemøller live was an astounding debut at Coachella 2011. During what had to have been one of the most stunning Coachella sunsets I’ve ever witnessed, I was having my face melted off by the electronic goodness that is Trentemøller and his live band. Percussionists, guitarists, a fucking theremin player, and Anders Trentemøller himself running around on stage and trying his hand at all the fancy musical toys at his disposal? How could I NOT want to see that again?
Fast-forward from that magical day in 2011. Trentemøller now has another studio album under his belt, 2013’s Lost, whose latest single, “Gravity,” is every bit as compelling as the more minimal melodies of his previous release, Into the Great White Yonder.
Trentemøller will be hitting The Fonda on April 5th with support from T.O.M. and His Computer, and we’re giving away a pair of tickets each to TWO lucky readers! If you want in, you should:
