The Sounds

Confession: despite having been a fan of The Sounds since their 2002 debut release, Living in America, I’ve yet to see them perform live, an oversight I plan on correcting this Saturday at Club Nokia.

The Swedish indie rockers are now on album number five, 2013′s Weekend, and given how far they’ve come from their already stellar debut, I’m eager to see if they live up to the rave reviews they received on their recent stint opening for No Doubt.

Opening for The Sounds will be fellow Angelenos Blondfire and Aussie synth poppers Strange Talk. If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, what are you waiting for?
