I fell in love with the angtsy, alternative rock music of Max Bemis’ brainchild Say Anything back when I lived on the East Coast and would sing along to their 2003 album, …Is A Real Boy. Since their inception in 2000, this Los Angeles-based band has become a staple of the emo-rock scene, and like many of my favorite acts of the early-2000s, the group continues to put out quality music. It’s been two years since the release of Say Anything’s fifth studio album, Anarchy, My Dear, and the band just announced that album’s follow-up, Hebrews.

Hebrews is due out June 10th via Equal Vision Records and will be supported by a nationwide summer tour featuring some of the best up-and-coming emo rock acts in the scene today. The tour will kick off on June 13th in Dallas, TX with a stop here at The Fonda Theater on July 24th. The Front Bottoms and You Blew It! (who just toured together) are confirmed to support along with The So So Glos.

Bemis has said that Hebrews is his “favorite record I’ve ever made and favorite tour I’ve ever played. Not to mention the other bands slay; if y’all show up, you’ll make my day.”

Tickets are on sale with an option to add a signed CD or vinyl to your purchase. Fans who order will receive a digital download of the record on release day from Equal Vision Records and will pick up their CD or vinyl from the merch table the night of the show they are attending. Check out the dates below and get excited for another stellar summer tour featuring brand new music from one of emo punk’s most established bands.
