After taking last week off to head down to Angel City Brewery’s inaugural Sound of Support music night, the LA Music Blogcast crew was back at the TradioV studio this week to talk about Daft Punk at the GRAMMYs, the Super Bowl halftime performance, the rainy weather (thanks a lot, Drake), and more music-related nonsense.

Our hosts David Fisch and Mikiel Houser also had a chance to chat with LA’s own Queen Caveat, who talked to the guys about their plans for SXSW, their excitement over the upcoming release of their Manufactured Happiness EP, and the details of the secret EP release show they have planned for tomorrow night (it involves free admission, free drinks, and arcade games…many arcade games).

After answering some fans’ very interesting questions involving nudity and pizza (but not together), Queen Caveat treated us to stripped-down renditions of their tracks “Breathe” and “Believe,” and if the songs can sound that good with just an acoustic guitar and vocals, I can’t imagine how great they sound fully recorded.

Check out the full episode below, and be sure to tune in to TradioV LA next Thursday at 8PM to catch our next LIVE taping with guests Kiven!

You can now download the audio-only versions of the LA Music Blogcast on iTunes!
