After taking last Thursday off to celebrate All Hallows’ Eve (I was seeing Iron & Wine at the Orpheum. What did you get into?), the LAmb team was back at the TradioV studio last night for another live taping of the LA Music Blogcast. With two week’s worth of contests, reviews, and interviews to recap, our hosts David “DJ” Fisch and Mikiel Houser were kept busy, but they still found time to talk about their favorite recent album releases (Arcade Fire’s Reflektor seemed to be a unanimous favorite) before being joined by local indie folk rock duo Hunter Hunted.

The guys from Hunter Hunted talked to the LAmb about their recent tour with fun. (yes, that fun.), their plans for a new album (yes, it will be released on vinyl), and their upcoming tour dates (yes, they will be hitting their hometown soon). They also performed a stunning, stripped-down acoustic version of “Operating,” the opening song off their self-titled debut EP, complete with vocal harmonies so good, I thought for sure a processor or some kind of effects pedal had to be at play.

Check out the full recording of last night’s Blogcast below, and be sure to tune in to TradioV LA next Thursday, November 14th, at 8PM to catch our next LIVE taping with guests The Active Set!

You can now download the audio-only versions of the LA Music Blogcast on iTunes!
