I’ve been lucky enough to be introduced to so many talented artists through LA Music Blog and our weekly Blogcast, and supporting such artists is exactly why my co-founder and I started the site in the first place. This Monday, one of our favorite local acts is kicking off a month-long residency at The Echo, and I’m proud to say LA Music Blog is co-presenting the show!
Haunted Summer appeared on the May 24th episode of the LA Music Blogcast, and the duo of Bridgette Eliza Moody and John Seasons quickly won us over with their dreamy synth-pop style, which is equally pretty and pretty spooky. They’ve since released a video for the first track they performed on the Blogcast, “All Around,” as well as dropped a new EP, Something in the Water, just last month.
Every Monday in October, Haunted Summer will be playing at The Echo, except for this Monday, October 7th, which will be at The Echoplex for their kickoff party. According to the band’s Facebook event page, fans can “expect surprises, new songs, and lots of fog” at the show, and the best part is the entire residency is free! Details below!
