This year’s GRAMMY nominations will be announced live on December 6th from the Nokia Theater LA Live, and expert investigator LL Cool J will once again be on hand to crack the case on this year’s nominees. The presentation, airing on CBS from 10:00–11:00PM ET/PT, will once again feature live performances from the year’s top artists. GRAMMY-winner Drake, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Robin Thicke, and four-time GRAMMY winner Keith Urban will all perform on “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night.” Following the one-hour live telecast, guests will be treated to an exclusive concert by Robin Thicke.
The most controversial artist of this past summer (well, it might be a tie between him and Miley) is back on air, this time taking network TV by storm. After his raunchy MTV performance, it’s clear that Thicke has no reservation in blurring lines – er, well, at least no reservations about wearing them. Tickets for the general public to this special performance go on sale Thursday, October 17, online or via AXS charge-by-phone lines at 888.9.AXS.TIX (888.929.7849).
Thicke’s performance and the night’s announcements will all culminate with the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards, live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26, 2014, with a broadcast on CBS at 8:00PM ET/PT.
Additional performers and presenters for “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night” will be announced shortly. Who else would you like to see perform? Let me know in the comments!
