The Bridge School educates children with severe speech and physical impairments by using augmentative and alternative communication systems and assistive technology, and for the past quarter century, the annual Bridge School Benefit Concerts have brought the biggest names in music together to pledge their support of the non-profit organization.
This year’s concert marks the 27th installment in the historic series and will feature performances by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Queens of the Stone Age, Arcade Fire, My Morning Jacket, Jack Johnson, Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, Fun, Heart, and Jenny Lewis. Great lineup, but what’s even better is that you can watch this year’s concert from the comforts of your living room and sweatpants!
The October 26th concert at Shoreline Amphitheatre will stream live in its entirety via the Bridge Street Benefit Concert YouTube page courtesy of Warner Bros. Be sure to check that out, and even more of the iconic Bridge School Benefit Concerts are available to you as the 25th Anniversary Edition, featuring performances by Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Paul McCartney, and more, is available in a 3-DVD set and a 2-CD package via Reprise Records.
