As we head into a beautiful fall weekend, I’m happy to report there are a litany of local musical options to tickle your earbuds. It’s a big weekend for music in LA, so read on for a few of the standouts!

The Naked and Famous @ The Wiltern – Friday, September 27, 2013 – Tickets

This New Zealander band just released a new album and are playing tonight at The Wiltern. Tickets are still available, so if you’re feeling spontaneous, head down to The Wiltern to enjoy The Naked and Famous’s lilting melodies.

Vampire Weekend @ The Hollywood Bowl – Saturday, September 28, 2013 – Tickets

The Brooklyn-based quartet is performing at the Hollywood Bowl tomorrow evening, and with three albums in their repertoire, it’s sure to be a night to remember. The Hollywood Bowl is by far one of my favorite outdoor venues in Los Angeles, and there’s nothing quite like enjoying live music under the stars.

Arctic Monkeys @ The Wiltern – Sunday, September 29, 2013 – Tickets

Arctic Monkeys are a fantastic indie rock band whose fifth studio album, AM, came out earlier this month. Even if you don’t make it out to the show, LAmb writer Gerry Doot will be there, so be sure to check out his recap of the show next week.
