I have seen my favorite band Paramore perform dozens of times on both coasts of the country and everywhere in between, but the group just announced that they will be adding a one-of-the-kind tour stop to their schedule next year: a four-day cruise that will include performances by the band, special events, and much more!
“Parahoy!” sets sail March 7th from Miami and will take fans on a four-day cruise to the private island of Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas. “Parahoy!” boasts an agenda of two Paramore shows on the pool deck, a Q&A session with the band, activities with each member of the band, an autographed commemorative cruise print, dining options, contests, and more.
“Dozens of concerts by other great bands” will also take place, including one by one of my favorite duos Tegan and Sara, and Paramore promises that several more support acts will be announced. The cruise is set to use the Norwegian Pearl, a 2,394-occupancy cruise ship with staterooms ranging from interiors to balconies, suites to penthouses.
Tickets, however, aren’t cheap — it is $650 per person with an additional $215 taxes and fees based on a minimum of double occupancy. Deposits are starting at $150 a person and fans that want to book as soon as tickets go on sale can join the pre-sale for free.
Paramore will be partnering with the music-festival-at-sea company Sixthman, which has organized music cruises for 311 and Lynyrd Skynyrd and have cruises planned for artists such as Kid Rock and Kiss next year.
Not sure if my wallet can handle the plane to Miami and the cruise ticket, but this is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Paramore fans who wants to enjoy an incredible cruise that promises relaxation, fun activities, delicious dining, and intimate performances with the band!
