Independence Day is almost here, and I personally love getting outside, firing up the BBQ with friends, and catching a live show or two. For those of you who have a nice day or two off in the middle of this work week, here are a couple of (very different) live show options.

Carnage @ Exchange LA – Wednesday, July 3rd – Tickets

To get your dance on tonight and celebrate independence from work tomorrow, Carnage is sure to kick your holiday off with a boom as big as the fireworks in the sky! Carnage has rocked stages at Nocturnal Wonderland, Electric Daisy Carnival, Coachella, and more, and this time around he’ll be joined on stage by 3lau (pronounced “blau”). If you’re into his style, grab tickets to tonight’s show for a mere $20.

Josh Groban @ Hollywood Bowl- Thursday, July 4th – Tickets

The Hollywood Bowl, one of my favorite outdoor venues in Los Angeles, is known for having some of the most incredible firework displays, and this year Josh Groban’s ethereal voice will be accompanying the firework show. Groban has one of those unbelievable voices that sounds even better live than on his albums (as hard as that is to believe), so pack a picnic, take in Groban’s voice, and enjoy the fireworks.

Wherever you find yourself this holiday, may you enjoy the beautiful independence of living in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
