Sonos Studio is back again with another impressive showcase! After seeing Kate Nash rock out at Sonos in celebration of her new album, Girl Talk, I was ecstatic to hear that the next event will be a screening and world premiere of Black Lips’ tour documentary Kids Like You And Me. The film documents Black Lips’ tour through the Middle East, which included three stops in Egypt, making them the first known American rock band to play in that country since The Grateful Dead in 1978!

The Kids Like You And Me screening is the final of a 3-part series called PLAY, which highlights the union of music and video and showcases the Sonos Playbar. Food for each event is curated by the kitchens of LA’s renowned AOC and Lucques, and not only will the night include the film screening plus a Q&A with the director, Bill Cody, the band will also be doing a DJ set!

For all you LA locals, RSVP now to come out and enjoy this great event this Saturday, June 8th, from 7-10pm.
