Last summer Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe spent time in a Czech Republic prison on charges of manslaughter stemming from the 2010 death of a fan at a Lamb of God show. He was released on bail in August, and after returning to the country to stand trial, was acquitted yesterday of all charges against him.

Contradictory testimony from concert goers claiming that Blythe had violently pushed the victim, 19-year-old Daniel Nosek, off the stage during a Lamb of God concert in Prague on May 24, 2010 played a large role in the frontman’s acquittal. In a message posted to Lamb of God’s Facebook page yesterday, he wrote: “Please remember the family of Daniel Nosek in your thoughts & prayers in this difficult time. I only wish for them peace. Thank you for your support- Randy”

The state attorney immediately appealed the decision, but at least for now, it looks like this mess might be behind Blythe and the rest of Lamb of God.
