Today's Cross Frightened Rabbit

My favorite Scottish indie rockers, Frightened Rabbit, released their fourth studio album, Pedestrian Verse, this week, and immediately followed it up with a new video for the song “Today’s Cross.” The track is the B-side to the group’s single, “The Woodpile,” and the video features quite possibly the world’s most important son suffering a severe case of writer’s block.

Check out the video for “Today’s Cross” below, and while you’re at it, pick up tickets to Frightened Rabbit’s upcoming show at The Fonda on March 13th. The group’s catalogue is made for singing along, and as I’ve said before, frontman Scott Hutchison is liberal with the clever between-song banter in that Scottish brogue, so you’re guaranteed to be entertained throughout the performance.
