With a look and sound similar to that of The Growlers, Blackfeet Braves are riding the wave of surrealistic surf-rock that is currently washing over the music scene. Lead vocalist Julian Ducatenzeiler (try saying that three times fast) lays out cool, wistful tracks, with opposing bright, twangy guitars riffs, bringing back the 1960s-influenced beauty of psychedelic guitar and echoing vocals historically showcased by artists like Jefferson Airplane and currently displayed in the recent likes of Wavves. On February 12th, the band released their self-titled album, and they are now preparing to venture out on a spring tour of the West Coast.
