One of my current favorite local acts is undeniably The Neighbourhood, and last week, the group released a mashup of Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” and Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River” that perfect epitomizes the group’s downtempo style.

The mashup was presented Thursday night during The Neighbourhood’s appearance on Radio 1’s Late Live Lounge, during which they also performed their current single “Let It Go.” Speaking of performances, in February the group is slated for a series of Australian dates before a run of West Coast shows, followed by an appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.

If you get a chance to see these guys live in the next few months, I suggest you take it, because I can only imagine the crowds and venues are going to get bigger and bigger the longer The Neighbourhood continues to make music.
