This week, Los Angeles industrializers Dawn of Ashes revealed on their Facebook page the new release date for their upcoming album, Anathema. While previous rumors speculated that the release would have been in December 2012, the Metropolis Records band announced that the album will be released on April 9, 2013, and despite the wait, just having a definitely date is exciting to say the least.
Here we have some old-school dark-electro artists ready to come back to their roots. For those not keeping up, the band shocked many fans when they signed to Metal Blade to release the black metal record Genocidal Chapters. Their new outing will be mixed by the legendary Chris Vrenna, who has worked with Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Lords of Acid, Rammstein, and Hole. The project, having undergone many lineup changes, is currently presided over by Kristof Bathory and Bahemoth.
