After releasing one of 2012’s finest metal albums in the shape of L’Enfant Sauvage, Gojira will be treating SoCal fans to a headline show next week at the wonderful Fonda Theater with support from Devin Townsend Project and The Atlas Moth. Having initially had to cancel a fall tour opening for Dethklok and Lamb Of God due to the latter band’s well-documented recent troubles in Prague, Gojira will instead be treating fans to a headline slot in a smaller venue, but one that’s at least big enough to contain the band’s mammoth sound. It is the first time the French metallers have played a headline tour in the US, and we have TWO pairs of tickets to give away to our lucky readers!
If you’re free on January 25th and want the best dose of Friday night moshpit action around, leave a comment below, being sure to include an e-mail address you check regularly, and you might be lucky enough to win one of the two pairs. If you’re on the fence about this, check out the inventive video for the album’s title track. Crank it out and release your inner savage child.
Tickets to Gojira’s show at The Fonda are still available for purchase, and for more info, visit:
