As we march closer to Christmas, the holiday season is definitely a great time to grab some friends and head out to a show! Here are a few recommendations out of the many shows happening around Los Angeles this weekend.

Cali Christmas @ The Gibson Amphitheater – Friday, December 14th – SOLD OUT

This Friday, those who were lucky enough to get tickets to POWER 106’s (KPWR, 105.9 Los Angeles) Cali Christmas 2012 show will get to enjoy amazing hip-hop acts like Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, G.O.O.D. Music MC Big Sean, The Weeknd, Ca$h Out, and Clyde Carson. POWER 106 has also promised some very special surprise guests.

Boys Noize @ The Hollywood Palladium – Saturday, December 15th – Tickets

After taking nearly an entire year off from touring to focus on producing new music, Boys Noize (Alex Ridha) is finally back on tour with brand new music! Alex is both a recording artist and a producer, and he has found his own sound while collaborating with the likes of Feist, Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, and a litany of others. His album Out of the Black dropped October 16th, and he will be playing the Palladium on Saturday with support from UZ, LE1F, Destructo, and Strip Steve.

The Neighbourhood @ The Bootleg Theater – Sunday, December 16th – Free Show

For a fun and economical night out, check out The Neighbourhood’s free show at The Bootleg Theater. The band’s debut EP, I’m Sorry, was released this past August, and they’ve been on tour this fall wowing people with their unique sound. If you can’t make it out to the show this Sunday, don’t miss them playing at the same location December 23rd.
