For the past 23(!) years, KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas has been the rock station’s early gift to the City of Angels, and this year’s lineup just may be the best present ever.

The two-night musical extravaganza will be hitting the Gibson Amphitheatre Saturday, December 8th, and Sunday, December 9th, and while the first night’s lineup boasts some amazing acts — Linkin Park, Garbage, AWOLNATION, Walk the Moon, The Gaslight Anthem — with each name listed to perform on the second night, I got more and more excited. The Killers, Jack White, fun., Of Monsters and Men, Alex Clare, Imagine Dragons…I would pay to see any one of those acts solo, but to have the chance to see them all on the same night…why, it’s nothing short of a Christmas miracle!

Exclusive street team tickets to KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas go on sale this Friday at 12pm PST. You must be a member of the KROQ street team to get the password for the sale, so visit the KROQ website to become a member of the street team.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the following charities:

Para Los Niños, a non-profit family service agency designed to raise at-risk children out of poverty and into brighter futures through positive educational opportunities and support.

Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center, which provides a safe after-school environment where hundreds of boys and girls in South Central Los Angeles participate in tutoring, learn important social skills, and are guided to succeed in school and enter college.
