Reggae. Jazz. Dub. You may be the lucky reader that gets to listen to Groundation perform these styles and more live at El Rey Theatre on November 2nd for FREE as we’re giving away a pair of tickets to the show!

Groundation has been around for 14 years, touring worldwide and continuing to hone their style of mindfulness, awareness of widespread issues, and togetherness. The band is currently spreading their knowledge and influence through their seventh full-length album, Building an Ark, and the Northern Cali band will descend upon El Rey Theatre with Trevor Hall and Fanny Franklin in tow. Their trademark reggae style has a reputation of being calm, showing love, and spreading harmony and warm fuzzies, so come to the concert with an open mind and open heart, and they would probably also appreciate if you could be green-friendly.

You’ll also definitely want to arrive early to catch the opening acts. Trevor Hall is an acoustic, reggae-tinged folk artist who has played with Steel Pulse, The Wailers, Matisyahu, Stevie Nicks, Ben Harper, Colbie Caillat, Los Lobos, Ziggy Marley, and Rusted Root, while Fanny Franklin is a singer-songwriter from Santa Monica who blends soul, funk, rock, and R&B and has performed with Mos Def, Guru, Saul Williams, Common, and more.

So how can you get ahold of the free pair of tickets? Easy peasy. Just leave an intriguing, funny, creative, or catchy comment below. If we like it, we’ll give you the tickets. Make sure to include a valid email address so we can contact you. Good luck!
