The All-American Rejects

I first saw The All-American Rejects live at the 2003 Warped Tour, and immediately after catching their set, I swung by the group’s tent to buy their self-titled debut. That is the power of an AAR live performance — I was a broke college kid but I still shelled out ten bucks to have “My Paper Heart,” “Swing, Swing,” and “The Last Song” just a click away. Almost a decade later, the band is still going strong, and this weekend they’ll be bringing their catchy alt rock sound to the Wiltern. And guess what? We’re giving one lucky reader a free pair of tickets to the show!

The band released their fourth studio album, Kids in the Street, back in March, and you can check out the track “Heartbeat Slowing Down” from the album via the audio player below. To enter to win our free pair of tickets to the show this weekend, just leave a comment below this post. That’s it! Be sure to include an email address you check often as that’s how we’ll be getting in touch with the winner, but don’t worry if you don’t win — you can still catch the Rejects with Boys Like Girls and Parachute at the Wiltern by buying tickets.
