Axl Rose is one of those musical personas you either love, hate, or love to hate. He’s been involved in domestic abuse scandals, developed a reputation for his volatile moods, and stirred up controversy this past April with his open letter to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. BUT he’s also the founder and frontman of arguably one of the best hard rock bands, well, maybe ever — Guns ‘N Roses — and this fall, Rose will be taking that band, now comprised of DJ Ashba (guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Tommy Stinson (bass), Richard Fortus (guitar), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (guitar), Chris Pitman (keyboards), and Frank Ferrer (drums), to Sin City for a 12-date residency, Appetite for Democracy.

The residency will take place at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this fall from Wednesday, October 31 through Saturday, November 24. The shows will feature tracks spanning Gun’s ‘N Roses career, from their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, through 2008’s highly anticipated release, Chinese Democracy.

“We are ecstatic to announce Guns N’ Roses as our newest residency at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino,” said Paul Davis, vice president of entertainment at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. “This is what The Joint is all about, bringing fans up close and personal with one of the most iconic bands in the world. It will be a truly unique Guns N’ Roses experience!”

Ticket prices start at $45 and go on sale to the public at 10 am this Friday, Aug. 17. You can pick yours up at the Hard Rock Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, or charge-by-phone at 800.745.3000. Ticket and room packages are available at Hard Rock Hotel’s website.
