Portland, Oregon rockers The Dandy Warhols kicked off their nationwide tour yesterday in San Francisco and are powering their way down the west coast, playing Los Angeles this evening. After almost twenty years of creating trippy, alternative rock, The Dandy Warhols will be taking over The Wiltern on the second stop of their tour in support of their newest studio album, This Machine, released last month.
Their ninth studio album and first on Brooklyn-based The End Records, This Machine reveals a more stripped-down, grungier side to The Dandy Warhols. The band may have had more creative control on this guitar-centric album than they did with previous releases on Capitol Records, and there’s no doubt the rock quartet will put on a highly energetic, psychedelic performance this evening while showcasing their newest songs.
Sleepy Sun and 1776 will be opening. Don’t miss a chance to see these powerhouse rockers, particularly since The Dandy Warhols incredibly animated shows are known for their non-stop dancing. Grab tickets for tonight’s show here.
