Orange County metallers Throwdown have been announced as the headlining act of the first annual West Coast “Brawloween Tour”! The 11-date trek will kick off in San Diego on October 21st, leading up to a Halloween performance at the Cobalt Cafe in Canoga Park. Supporting acts include Carnifex, First Blood, and Suffokate.
Commenting on the tour, frontman Dave Peters confessed, “It’s exciting if not a little nerve-wracking to be playing a string of shows like this after almost two years. Especially with most of them so close to home. We plan on performing a ton of older songs and some fan favorites that were left off set lists when we were touring in support of Deathless & Venom & Tears. At the end of the night, we just want to have played a set that had no valleys and maintained an intensity from start to finish.” He went on to inform fans, “…tell us what songs you want to hear…and there’s a good chance you’ll hear them.”
Throwdown’s last live appearances include the “Deathless I” tour in November 2009, as well as their spring 2010 performance at MusInk with Danzig.
