Hank 3 is a busy man. Since releasing Straight to Hell back in 2006, the country rocker has barely had time to catch his breath between solo work, pet projects, and a constant touring schedule. But despite his lack of down time, Williams is gearing up for the release of three (that’s right, three!) new albums next week: his double-disc country record, Ghost to a Ghost/Gutter Town; the speed metal catalyst, Cattle Callin; and the doom-rock driven, Attention Deficit Domination. All three albums will be released through Williams’ own label, Hank3 Records, via Megaforce Records and will feature guest appearances by Tom Waits, Les Claypool, Alan King, and even Williams’ dog, Trooper.

In anticipation of these releases, Williams is embarking on a 22-date North American tour, kicking off September 5th in Atlanta, Georgia. The trek will take him through the southern US before a stop at The Roxy on September 23rd. And although this show is already sold out, LA Music Blog has a pair of tickets up for grabs for one special fan! Just leave a comment below letting us know why you deserve the tickets. The winner will be contacted by the end of day on Wednesday, September 21st, so be sure to include an email address you check often with your comment.

Williams has revealed that this round of shows “…is gonna be a little different for the fans who have been used to seein’ Assjack for the last 10 years. Assjack was almost fast hardcore, and ADD is slow, Melvins, sleep-oriented doom rock. So it’s gonna be a lot different to see and feel, compared to what most people are used to seein’ me do live.”
